Meet Brad Newbury MPA, NRP

From the Firehouse to the Boardroom

Brad Newbury is a veteran Captain/Paramedic with over 40 years of experience in firefighting and prehospital medicine.

He is the founder of the National Medical Education & Training Center (NMETC), a global leader in emergency medical education. After selling the company in 2014, Brad reacquired it in 2016 and has since grown its revenue nearly fivefold.

A sought-after speaker at national and international conferences, Brad shares insights on business, emergency response, and disaster medicine.

He is a graduate of Harvard’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health and the Kennedy School’s National Preparedness Leadership Initiative. Brad also holds a Master’s in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s in Fire Science from Anna Maria College.
